As this small, yet passionate fan base begins to fade into obscurity, I don't want things to end that way, especially after all the time & effort this community has poured into itself, even if we may consist only of a few, I don't want it. Albeit this may seem strange coming from a complete stranger & newcomer, I've basically fallen in love with this series, and I wanna share and discuss this as much as possible.

To facilitate this, I felt that the creation of an 'unofficial' Alien 9 Discord would be well suited for this task, as it's modern appeal & useful features could help make this a reality, hell, it may even bring more people into the fold, and so I made one.

I was only a year old when the anime adaptation first aired, and I didn't even exist when the manga was first published. I might be the youngest fan of Alien 9 out there.

Please, don't let this die just yet.

But could you please explain to me what a discord is in this context?

Guessing you haven't heard of the Discord client before?
It's basically IRC, TeamSpeak/Ventrilo all thrown into one application, that on its own is quite versatile and is laden with a bunch of features.

Personally, I deiced to use it as a means to keep this fanbase alive, as I have noticed many people commonly use Discord as a means of discussion, especially among niche fan bases such as our own.

I don't have a Discord account either. Draco Mutation, you could make an account there with your same username. Cyke, you can also post some of your alien nine theories and opinions on here in case no one joins Discord. I thought Discord was like a chat room, but you can also do live web cams or streamings of you drawing or playing video games.

Well, I don't actually have a mic or headset or anything, nor have I ever voice or video chatted.

If that stuff is required I can't do it, though if there are regular text chatrooms I could look into it.

It probably has a regular text chat room option.

Okay, it is like a regular chat room. It's a private chat room that only your friends who you share the link with can go too.
There's the voice chat feature, but it's only in voice chat rooms and hardly anyone uses it. It's off by default, so you can't accidentally record yourself or forget it's on or anything like that.
Maybe you joined already under a different name.
It's pretty quiet right now.

Sorry I've not been on the discord or here for a while. This site wouldn't work for me for a while for some reason, then I kind of forgot about it.
