First up: eBay - You might find some stuff crop up here Yahoo Auction Japan - Japanese auction site, search for エイリアン9 . Use a japanese auction bidding service to help you bid, Google for services as there are quite a few! e.g. Rinkya, Shopping Mall Japan, Celga etc. |

As far as I can tell the ones on the bubblewrap are actually pencil boards (shitajiki). Apparently people use them to lean on/as backing whilst writing etc, but I don't see the point in that... I bet they're mostly collectible items, like the pictures on phone cards. They're usually made of plastic so they make great small 'laminated' sturdy posters. I've got 7 so far. On the second poster, is Kumi trying to flip Yuri over? xD  In that pic they're doing leapfrog gymnastics as far as I can tell. But Yuri, seems to not be doing too well and is stumbling and practically falling all over a (probably) annoyed/in pain Kumi! Thats my impression of it. This is the reverse side of the board, showing Kasumi doing a perfect frog leap:

There is an official Alien 9 poster that was made with the three girls and the teacher, you can see a pic of it on the main site here (the one with the label "Everyone Together") http://alien9.crossrealms.net/products_ ... encilboard I've seen the poster pop up on Yahoo Japan Auctions sometimes but not much. I got it as a small pencil board poster instead on eBay for cheap a long time ago. |
