Well, my name is Martín Augusto (you can just call me Martin). I'm from Minatitlan, Veracruz however I'm studying in Puebla. I like wathing listening music especially rock, watching anime, etc.

I knew about the OAVs of Alien 9 when I visited a Fansub site from Spain... honestly I can't remember the reason I had for downloading the series, after I watched the last OAV I was shocked because I though "What's will be of Yuri since Kumi seemed to be a good support for her" or "how would Yuri overcome the loss of her friend?". Well, I also think the series is deep in many ways (the most obvious, I think the changes for puberty - hope this is the wright spelling - ). I don't really know about the comic/manga.

My favorite character from the series... well there's none. Yuri likes me because of all the conflicts she has and how she solves them. However, I consider the end of the series ironic (Kumi's death) because I consider that Yuri's relation with Kumi was closer than with Miyu.

You really should check out the manga sometime. Theres a whole 2 - 3 books at least of material that wasn't in the anime and it goes far beyond the ending scene there. You might be surprised what happens!

May I know how or where to buy the manga in english or spanish? considering it will be hard to buy here in Mexico or at least it will take a lot of time for the comic to be sold here.

And by the way, did Kumi die in the comic as well?

The manga is available in English. Have you tried Amazon or rightstuf.com? I recommend getting it through these two, but I'm not sure what their international shipping is like. Anyone outside the U.S. who has used them could tell you about that better than I can. I'm sorry I can't be any more help than that.

As for Kumi...-points to the top of the site- Search is your friend. =)

I've ordered lots of DVDs from Amazon.com, international shipping is fine (I live in the UK). Not the cheapest I've ever had but reasonable and if you group your orders its ultimately cheaper.
Amazon.co.uk is another option.

I've even ordered books from Amazon.co.jp before, again good service.

For your question about Kumi check on the main site under Info > Questions (FAQ)

Questions 5, 6 and 17 relate to that scene as well as another later in the manga.
