Ah, many thanks to Sai for introducing the petition site to me. =)
As we all know, the AlienNine anime was abruptly ended at the 4th episode, in which the ending was something really agonising, especially for those who do not read the manga after that and have no other way to find out what happened after that incident. Morever, it had been 4 years since the first Japanese AlienNine DVD was released. Though the real reason for the halting of the production of any further episodes of the AlienNine anime is unknown, I feel that the AlienNine project could once again be taken up by Taro Maki, the director for the anime. All he needs is, perhaps, some persuasion from us AlienNine fans, and only then could he be convinced.
I've created an AlienNine petition, which is accessible
here. You can too access it from the main crossrealms website. The whole idea of this petition is to gather up the support of all of the AlienNine fans who would want the AlienNine anime to be continued before this message can be sent to Taro Maki. Although it is not guaranteed that Taro Maki will resume the AlienNine project, I feel that if we show our determination for the AlienNine anime to be continued, Taro Maki might consider it. Therefore, we first need to show that kind of determination, thus the formation of the petition.
Hopefully, after reading through the petition (excuse my poor grammar =P), you'll sign it and perhaps, spread the word around. I will need to see a positive surge in the number of people signing the petition before I can send it out, and hopefully, I can do that before the end of this year.
Thanks to all for reading through this.
