Kumi's Mom does the best she can even though their Dad is no longer there. It looks like Kumi does most of the cooking.

Kasumi's parents seem to push Kasumi to achieve and go for her goals. However it looks like they aren't there for her emotionally when her brother is gone.

Yuri's mom isn't very supportive of Yuri when she complains about being in the Alien Party. You would think she would be a little more concerned about Yuri bringing an alien home. But since Yuri probably complains all the time, maybe the Mom doesn't notice anything unusual.

Yuri's Mom did seemed concerned about Yuri in volume three when Yuri started acting like a baby. "I should have made her quit that alien party..." she said.
