Anime site: http://www.minitokyo.net/ -----> Unfortunately, Alien9 is not among the anime list, but it has been mentioned in the forums there. By the way, isn't the newgrounds website... kinda contain hentai stuff and such? I cannot really access the site much, so I don't have much information on it.

Newgrounds is basically just a huge Flash stuff website so it contains a bit of everything really. A lot of the visual novel/dating sim games are quite plotless though and resort to adult content so I wouldn't reccomend the site for that (unless that's what you're looking for). http://renai.us has a better listing of free games for that genre.
