Yahoo Auctions Japan is basically the eBay of Japan. You can find alot of rare or obscure anime/manga items on there aswell as other stuff.

If you find something interesting post it in this thread. I'd like to see whats out there. I've stumbled upon some interesting things in the past like the ones I posted in the other thread. If you can save a copy of the images for the auction and upload it somewhere else so we can still see the images after the auction expires.

How do I find stuff related to Alien 9 on there?

The long empty box to the left of the screen is where you can enter a search term (the box next to it is just for categories, leave it at default setting, the button next to that is the submit button). Just enter the Japanese title for Alien 9 and click the submit button:

You can use online translators. Be warned they're not very accurate though. But fine enough for picking out the main details/information within the auction and for translating the interface etc.

I found something I really want. How do I buy it?

Unfortunately its an almost nil chance that the seller will ship outside Japan. Thats the drawback to this site, you pretty much need to live in Japan (and need to be able to speak Japanese to communicate with the seller) or have a good friend who lives in Japan etc. to get it for you. However there are alot of English services that will help bid on the item and receive it at their office in Japan before sending it out internationally to you. The drawback is that they don't offer such services for free of course.

Here are a few such services, I reccomend checking out each to see which you find the easiest to use or the cheapest and so on. The only one I have used a few times is Celga.com and have had good experiences so far. I've heard about Crescent Shop and Shopping Mall Japan and Rinkya too. I've not heard as much (if anything) about the others. Google around for comments.

Its the Yuri resin kit!! This figure is very old so this is a rare find I think and not too bad a price for something thats probably hard to find now. I think since Alien 9 is relatively unknown the prices can be low sometimes. Too bad I'm hopeless at painting. Those wings are awesome...
