With Amazon, I'd take anything listed as "Usually ships within 4 to 6 weeks." with a large pinch of salt. usually what that means is they have no stock of it in and that it's limited availability. In my experience anyway.
I had a video on order listed as 4 to 6 weeks but for 3 months or more, everytime it reached 6 weeks I'd get an email from Amazon saying "We're sorry we've been unable to get this item in stock. Please wait another 4 to 6 weeks". As you can guess, after 6 weeks, same email. Eventually I bought it off Amazon Marketplace and I'm very happy with the purchase. Marketplace seems pretty reliable (you get there by clicking New and Used on the right of the item, under the order button). If you can, get it New for a decent price from a shop listed in the Marketplace. You can use your Amazon account to order from them so its convenient.
I have a soundtrack on order from 2 months ago or more. It says "4 to 6 weeks" but I know it won't ever come.
I'd get it second hand as with the first order I mentioned but it actually is rare now and people don't seem to sell it for less than £60 (ridiculous! especially as its at most £13 when originally released... bah)
