I Searched the name but got `Lynx` the funny thing is I think that is what was intentionally referenced by Hitoshi Tomizawa, 1) the word `Lynx` is derived from a word meaning `Brightness, Light" which refered to the real life creatures eyes as well as its mythological equivalent and the Lynax is made of eyes. 2) The mythological creature was a ghost-like animal that could see without being seen, such as how the Lynax got in without being noticed and attacked Kumi. 3) the fights with the Lynax always happend in the library, `the Lynx` was a keeper of secrets and had alot of knowledge so the library which symbolizes knowledge would reference this too. 4) the `Lynx` was associated with giving harm to those who betrayed a secret of others like Kumi did with Kasumi. and finally 5) the `Lynx` was asscoiated with divination and Clairvoyance both having to do with sight. please interpret it however you want but this is a theory of mine, hope it was good. |
